CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS OFFICER
Location: Based in Colombo with extensive travel
Working under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager Corporate Partnerships, the position will support the Partnership team in developing new corporate partnership & effectively managing existing partnership in line with the corporate partnership strategy of World Vision Lanka (WVL) in meeting its programmatic priorities within the communities we serve.
Acquiring new corporate partners to meet the targeted funding requirements of the Division by engaging with the corporates in the form of strategic partnerships, Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) and Business to Business (B2B) partnerships
Managing key relationships through continuous follow-up and aiming to retaining key contacts through regular and continuous communications- Build strong relationships with CSR managers and marketing teams of corporates to initiate partnerships and sustain relationships
Engagement with Operations- Develop systematic process to identify & record needs of the Area Development Programs (ADP) & Area Programs (AP)’s of WVL. Monitoring the progress of projects for compliance and quality in line with the agreements by working closely with operations,- Obtaining information for the progress reports and project end reports,- Continuous meetings with operations to ensure standards are met by the organization
Proposal Development & Reporting - Develop concept statements, proposals, monitoring & reporting on projects, compiling project closure reports capturing the needs of the Area Development Programs( ADP) as required
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Business management or Marketing
Sales, Marketing and relationship management exposure(preferred)
Relationship management skills to effectively manage the Corporate partnerships ,
Sales and Marketing skills to acquire new relationships
Coordinate and network effectively with other units and operation
Advanced knowledge of development and political context in the country and WVL ministry
Good proposal writing and presentation skills in English
Good IT skills with ability to work well with MS Office Suite
