Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will lead implementation of the Halting the spread of HIV and reversing its impact in Eswatini Project funded by Global Fund through CANGO. The position will lead a team comprising of M&E Coordinator, 7 Field Officers, 38 volunteers to deliver on project targets while meeting organizational requirements and policies

Provide strategic and technical guidance regarding the implementation of the Halting the spread of HIV and reversing its impact in Eswatini Project

Achievement of project targets and absorption as detailed in the project budget

Establish and maintain a robust system of monitoring implementation of the project

M&E systems

Communication and liaison with stakeholders

Good relationships with stakeholders

Prepare and submit timely professional reports that meet donor requirements

Timely reporting

Staff supervision and performance appraisal

Weekly plans, continuous performance appraisals

Develop and write proposals for renewed funding of the project

Proposal packages for renewal of project

Ensure program is evaluated for program effectiveness and strategies are developed to tackle short comings

Evaluation reports

Plan and deliver interventions of the project on day to day basis towards achievement of set objectives

Effective and efficient day to day project implementation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position:

  1. Bachelor degree in Health field

  2. Experience in implementation of health, HIV projects

  3. Experience in working in WVS an added advantage

  4. Master’s degree an added advantage
