Salary: circa £75000 pro rata per annum + good range of benefits
Contract: Full Time, Permanent Role. Part-time working (four days a week) would be considered

To lead World Vision UK in becoming an inspiring and effective organisation that lives out a culture of accountability and innovation; resilient and dynamic in a world of change. To play a central role in building the culture and capacities (listed above) across the organisation, that will enable our ambitious strategy and programme of change. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), to contribute to the development and implementation of WVUK’s strategy and be a custodian of the organisation’s People and OD strategy.
Human resources: ensure high standards of people management across WVUK, making WVUK a great place to work, attracting and developing talented, high performing and engaged staff.
Identity: uphold and promote World Vision’s identity and Christian commitments, seeking ways to promote and maintain the spiritual nurturing and pastoral care of staff.
Organisational leadership: contribute to WVUK overall strategy, leadership and culture through active membership of WVUK Senior Leadership Team; work in partnership with the CEO to enhance the cohesion and performance of the SLT; and in particular, lead the development, implementation and monitoring of WVUK strategies for people, including organisation design, development and culture.
Group Leadership: lead, manage and develop a high performing, motivated People and Culture group, and oversee group plans and budgets.
Board Support: provide support to the WVUK Board and relevant sub committees e.g. the Organisational Effectiveness Committee.
Innovation: establish processes, capacities and a culture that promote and embed innovation across WVUK.
Staff engagement: ensure there is a mechanism to engage with staff, allowing regular feedback to senior staff on WV people management activity.
External engagement: monitor trends, opportunities and risks in relation to people management in the external environment and ensure alignment with relevant WV Partnership strategies and policies.
