Salary: £60 - £65k per annum + good range of benefits

You will be driving World Vision UK to become an organisation which embraces digital technology, leverages the benefit of our wider World Vision International partnerships, works smartly & excels at engaging our supporters in our cause

To lead and maintain the implementation of the agreed technology strategy in line with World Vision UK business strategy and plans and in the context of the global technology strategies. To oversee the World Vision UK technology, information and digital realisation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Champion and drive the digital transformation across World Vision UK - articulate the vision, gain agreement to the ambition across World Vision UK leadership and build the required supporting architecture

  2. Create a technology strategy that supports the long-term ambitions of World Vision UK and the wider partnership

  3. Liaise directly with World Vision International and other World Vision partnership teams to maximise synergies, cost effectiveness and ensure consistency where needed.

  4. Create beneficial relationships with NGO senior technology leaders to identify best of class technology and strategy implementation methods.

  5. Set the objectives and strategies for all ICT departments including the digital realisation team of central World Vision UK (temp + permanent + contractor) technology resources

  6. Approve purchases of technological equipment and software and establish partnerships with ICT providers

  7. Be accountable for management of our 3rdParty technology partners

  8. Direct and sponsor technology projects

  9. Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways the company can gain competitive advantage

  10. Analyse the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions

  11. Oversee Data Governance of the organisation

  12. Uphold and promote World Vision’s identity and Christian commitments as central to organisational culture, and participate in appropriate activities for the spiritual nurture of staff.
