Implementation of World Vision UK digital initiatives require an individual that understands the audience needs and the technical complexities to deliver and maintain the optimum digital experience. This role is to manage the technical delivery and ongoing support of online projects for World Vision UK. Working with business unit managers and digital content coordinators to develop, execute and maintain digital and technical initiatives that support offline activity, drive engagement and acquisitions, retain our valued supporters and ensure that we utilise the full potential of the digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the technical infrastructure that WVUK digital channels run on including hosting, domain configuration, SSL management and supplier relationships

  • Manage and deliver selected digital projects from start to finish, with minimal supervision

  • Provide guidance on digital best practice and what is going to achieve the best results, be technically viable and be good value

  • Liaise with stakeholders throughout the organisation to develop and deliver their digital requirements from both a business and functional requirements perspective.

  • Providing technical insight based on a good knowledge of web technologies.

  • Information architecture and wireframe development to support business requirements

  • Manage internal and external partners to deliver results in a timely manner and within budget.

  • Understand new technologies and evaluate use of online innovations and trends to identify opportunities for World Vision

  • Working with World Vision International colleagues, andappreciating the Christian ethos of the World Vision Partnership
