World Vision is an international children’s charity working with children, their communities, and with supporters and partners, in almost 100 countries.

Through long-term development projects, emergency responses and advocacy we’ve helped bring lasting change to millions of children, over more than 60 years. And as a Christian organisation, everything we do is motivated by our faith as we strive to reflect God’s unconditional love.

Work for World Vision UK and you will be part of a truly global Partnership, building brighter futures for vulnerable children.

Looking for an opportunity to influence change, and to shape the direction of setting up a new approach to relationship management?

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional professional to join the Chief Executive’s Office. You will be responsible for developing a network of people that want to help World Vision in getting more people to join us. This role is a key strategic priority for World Vision, enabling us to take a significant step forwards in deepening the relationships with influential supporters.

Using your experience of international development and relationship management, you will help provide clarity to World Vision in how we can identify and develop relationships with external influencers. You will need to be a strategic thinker who can have a vision for the potential of future relationships, whilst being able to map existing relationships, and develop a clear plan for future relationship management mechanisms. You will be excellent at building relationships both internal and external to World Vision, and be able to work independently in order to achieve agreed objectives.

To perform well in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience of the humanitarian sector

  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience of representing your organisation to external audiences

  • Able to think conceptually, creatively and to develop new ways of working

  • Able to work on your own initiative, with a solution oriented mindset

As an active Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith and be sensitive to its various expressions across cultures and denominations.

Are you the exceptional person we are looking for? Along with uploading your CV, please write a covering letter explaining: 1) Why you want the role and 2) How your experience meets the requirements set out in the Job Description.
