Salary: £45,000 - £53,000 per annum + good range of benefits

World Vision is the world’s largest international children’s charity known in the sector for the excellence and impact of our programmes. Every day we bring real hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places as a sign of God’s unconditional love.
This is an outstanding opportunity within World Vision UK. As Head of Supporter Experience, you will lead a high performing team to ensure the delivery of a rich supporter experience for our 130,000 exceptionally committed supporters who last year gave £35m and sponsored more than 98,000 children.
But, this role is not just about raising money – it is about transforming hearts. Our vision is for every child to experience life in all its fullness andfor every heart, the will to make it. That meansfor our donors to see and believe in the difference they are making and for their passion for the world’s most vulnerable children to increase.
To achieve this will require a special person. Working with a talented team of nearly 50, it will take leadership, innovation, creativity and passion. The result will be increased engagement among our supporters and increased income to transform the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children.
Other important aspects of this role will involve:
Implementing the World Vision UK strategy to deliver an experience that exceeds supporter expectations
Maximising retention of our existing supporters and growing the long-term value of the supporter base
Delivering both financial appeals and non-financial campaigns to reach agreed targets
Embedding innovation and new product development ideas to enhance fundraising initiatives
Making a positive contribution to the Fundraising operation and wider World Vision UK leadership teams as a whole.
Overseeing the Product Management function.
You will come with a strong track record in direct marketing gained in a consumer marketing context and ideally some knowledge of charity fundraising. You will be an influential and strategic leader, confident in analysing data to shape strategy and decisions. In addition, you will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, experience in managing external agencies, call centres and mailing houses and the servant-hearted character to motivate colleagues across international boundaries to deliver objectives. This is also a role requiring occasional international travel to contexts where World Vision operates.
