Are you an active Christian, experienced in office administration? Are you innovative, customer focused and resourceful?

This is a fabulous opportunity to join World Vision. No day will be the same in this busy and varied role where you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation of World Vision UK’s London office. You will manage and deliver core services in an effecient, timely and professional manner, enabling staff working in the London office to carry out their functions effectively. You will act as the main point of contact for the Central Services team who are based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day to day operations of this busy office, including: support of colleagues and guests, facility support, stationery supplies and office post.

  • Managing Health & Safety, Welfare and Environmental systems to maintain full compliance.

  • First-line basic IT support

  • Acting as a keyholder and emergency out of hours contact support for offices and security

  • Work with users and maintain meeting rooms for conferences to agreed service levels

  • Provide support for our environmental standards and performance and work towards methods of improvement

  • Provide occasional supervision of contract/temporary staff and volunteers

  • Coordinate the provision of Devotionals and occasionally lead these sessions.

Educated to A level, you will need a proven track record of working in a busy and fast-paced office environment. Youll need to be competent and experienced in using Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office365 Programmes. A working knowledge of Lotus Notes and Mitel telephone systems would be an advantage.

If you are an excellent organiser, have strong attention to detail and a warm, engaging, relational approach, this could be the ideal role for you.

You should also be passionate about applying your professional skills to help children living in poverty and if you are a qualified First Aider, experienced Fire Warden and Qualified Risk Assessor this would be ideal, though training will be provided where necessary.
