Philanthropy Executive (Mid-Level)

Salary: £27,000 + £3200 London weighting per annum, depending on experience + good range of benefits

Contract: Permanent 36.5 hours per week

Based: London Victoria

Job Purpose

We currently have a fantastic role within our Philanthropy team where you will use your sales/fundraising and relationship skills todevelop and sustain relationships with our most committed supporters with the goal of fostering a greater partnership between World Vision UK and each donor. The role is predominantly phone focused with 1 day a week for meeting donors face to face around London. These are already warm donor’s who have a strong affinity and are passionate about the cause.

Key responsibilities will include:

Meeting or exceeding annual fund-raising goals through the cultivation of mid-level donor relationships

Planning and implementing account management and moves management strategies to ensure assigned donors are cultivated towards their full giving potential

Developing long-term relationships through personal interaction with donors, whilst shaping donor interest in WV mission as well as connecting donor interests with WV areas of work.

Leveraging current donors’ networks to locate new giving prospects capable of becoming major donors to WV

Ensuring donors are properly thanked and recognised for their gifts and that they are on a unique supporter journey

If you’re a great communicator, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets and a passion for making a difference then we want to hear from you.

Degree qualified and/or possessing professional qualifications in marketing and fundraising, or a strong record meeting and achieving targets. Ideally you have a strong account management/sales/fundraising background or a strong desire to make a difference and the transferable skills. Target driven with the ability to exceed financial targets, you will also possess excellent listening skills with a high level of emotional intelligence, have a true passion for making a difference in terms of donor relations and also have impressive time-management and administration skills, including CRM data-basing.
