Somalia Crisis Recovery Programme (SCRP) Senior Programme Manager

Salary: £36,994 per annum (£22,804 per annum, pro rata) + good range of benefits (+ London Weighting if based in London)

Contract: Fixed Term (until 30thDecember 2021) 22.5 hours per week, contract issued will be conditional and subject to funding approval

Based: Currently home-based due to Covid-19, however role to be Milton Keynes (preferred) or London based when offices re-open

World Vision UK is setting up a team to lead the Somalia Crisis Recovery Programme, funded by the World Bank through the Federal Government of Somalia. The programme will be Implemented through the SomReP consortium and will support the recovery of communities in Somalia impacted by floods and drought and strengthen capacity for disaster preparedness.

This is an attractive opportunity for an experienced programme manager to lead the implementation of the complex programme, working with a range of partners and the Federal Government of Somalia to ensure that the contract outputs are achieved in accordance to the contract terms whilst managing risks in the implementation.

We are looking for a candidate with experience of complex grant or contract management in a humanitarian or development environment, with the ability to manage relationships with consortium partners and international funders effectively. Experience of applying monitoring systems and managing budgets is also required.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months, and the contract issued will be conditional and subject to funding approval.
