Milton Keynes

Marketing Coordinator, Sponsorship Experience

Salary: £21,554 pa + good range of benefits

Based: Milton Keynes based

Contract: Full Time - Fixed term to 30 Sept 2018

Use your marketing skills where they really matter

World Vision is the world’s largest international children’s charity. Every day we bring real hope to millions of children in the world’s hardest places as a sign of God’s unconditional love. At World Vision, our aim is simple – to keep every child free from fear. We're also proud to be voted 9th in the 2016 Best Companies.

Looking for a new marketing role, but one where you can also make a difference? We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join the Sponsorship Experience team. In the team we love the fact that each day is different - from creating concepts, briefing, copywriting, and design, through to project and agency management, data selection, analysis and insight.

Within this role, you'll support the delivery of key multi-channel marketing campaigns and field communications to give sponsors a high value experience that increases sponsor loyalty and retention, and deepens engagement between the sponsor and child. You'll have the opportunity to truly immerse yourself within a busy marketing environment, providing support on our flagship marketing campaigns.

Your day could include gathering content, proof reading, copywriting, storyboarding videos, handling data, or updating online content on our sponsorship portal - My Sponsorship, so strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task are key. There will also be the chance to manage day-to-day relationships with stakeholders so good relationship building skills are a must, as is the ability to articulate constructive feedback to designers, copywriters and colleagues overseas.

With strong creativity and attention to detail, we are looking for someone who is excited by the bigger picture, but not daunted by the detail of getting the job done. Someone who can manage multiple projects, has great interpersonal skills and the initiative and drive to make the most of this opportunity. We are looking for a team-player with a can-do approach, someone who is equally at home taking the lead on their own projects, as supporting team members on others.

You will need to ensure our sponsor communications truly reflect World Vision’s mission and Christian ethos to our diverse supporter base. Further, you will have access to some of the best Direct Marketing training and thinking in the sector, all the while contributing to changing the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable children. So, if you believe you have the above qualities as well as a positive, solution-based approach, you could be our ideal candidate.

As a Christian, this role offers you the opportunity to integrate your Christian faith within World Vision UK and be sensitive to its expression across the wide range of audiences and beneficiaries we work with.

This is a truly rewarding role within a place where your skills really matter. In addition to the salary indicated, you will enjoy a good range of benefits, including a pension, subsidised gym membership, generous holiday entitlement and free parking.

Interested in joining the team?Along with your CV, please write a covering letter explaining: 1) Why you want the role and 2) How your skills and experience meet the requirements in the job description.
