FALL 2018 WORLD VISION INTERNSHIPS (Washington D.C)
World Vision Internships provide a three-month opportunity for exceptional students and recent graduates ready to explore a career in the international relief and development sector. DETAILS & ELIGIBILITY
Dates: September 17, 2018 – December 14, 2018
Stipend: All US-based interns are paid a monthly stipend of $250
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities are available (20-40 hours/week)
Location: Internships will be based in Federal Way (Washington)
All candidates must meet the following requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
Eligible to work in the United States (US Citizen/resident or F1-student visa)
Current student or recent graduate from an undergraduate/graduate program (within 2 years)
Adhere to the Christian Statement of Faith required by all World Vision International employees
FALL 2018 INTERNSHIPS (Washington DC)
Global Internal Audit Data Analytics Intern:
Recent college graduate, graduate student or completed graduate program
Appropriate Field of Study/Majors: Data science or analytics, Information technology, Business systems management, Finance or accounting
The Global Internal Audit Department provides assurance to the rest of the organization that it is moving in the right direction. Internal Auditors serve as trusted advisors and perform in-depth research and investigations to ensure operations are benefitting the appropriate stakeholders and running at maximum efficiency.
The intern’s responsibilities will include:
Work with Analytics team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment.
Identify data cleansing opportunities and clean data for quality, consistency and structure.
Maintain database and provide assistance to management.
Design excel templates for extracting information from major WV systems.
Provide quality assurance of imported data.
Structure current data in a way that is usable for certain analysis in Power BI
