Set education strategy for World Vision offices worldwide; ensure quality children's education portfolio across World Vision offices.
Oversee the development of World Vision education programs for children from birth to age 18 years including the associated tools and guidance documents; represent World Vision externally at global level.
Build the credibility of World Vision in the education sector; engage with external partners focus on USA and other key global capitals.
Manage team of senior level advisors in External Engagement, Quality & Innovation, Knowledge Management and Basic Education.
Requires Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in International Development or Education and four (4) years of experience with management at a sponsorship-funded international relief and development organization.
Experience must include: working in the not-for-profit sector.
Experience working in, and an understanding of child sponsorship organizations.
Experience working with and managing large grants in Education programming for major bilateral and multilateral donors; experience creating educational platforms for low resource and emergency settings in humanitarian crises, international relief settings and crisis situations (war zones).
Experience managing teams remotely in multiple international time zones in various cultural contexts.
Will travel internationally, approximately, 35% of the year on average (economy class).
