World Vision is seeking a Financial Analyst to support strategic decision-making, and fundraising insights needed to deliver the necessary revenue to achieve Our Promise, World Vision’s global strategy.

This new role will be responsible for data management and reporting focused on our global fundraising performance, in the context of World Vision’s strategic imperative to deliver high quality, sustainable funding.

The Financial Analyst will build effective working relationships with finance and marketing leaders across the globe to support their local performance analysis through shared global reporting, primarily in Power BI.

This role will make a significant impact leading consolidation and analysis of global marketing and fundraising performance, trends and return on investment to drive the revenue needed for achieving World Vision’s global strategy, focusing on helping the most vulnerable children and their communities overcome poverty in some of the world’s toughest places.

  • Manage data collection process for financial and marketing data provided from SOs and TFO/NRD offices to Global Finance. Partner with Finance data team on data consolidation, loading, validation and review. Support reporting and analysis of all recurring finance/marketing metrics reporting.

  • Manage data collection and support analysis of financial performance and return on investment reporting for global products, investment in emerging markets, and optimization of fundraising investment across the globe, all of which are key elements of the Our Promise Strategic

  • Initiative to Strengthen and Optimise our Revenue Base.

  • Manage data collection and support analysis of peer organizations (IFL and INDIGO partnerships) and global brand. Support data and reporting requirements for key finance, marketing and other partnership meetings and forums (RDLC, RDW, PRAC, etc.)

  • Ad-hoc projects related to Global Resource Development, as requested.


  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in financial analysis or an equivalent reporting and analytics role, with a focus on return on investment or marketing data and metrics preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related field, with MBA preferred.

  • Advanced MS Excel (including PowerPivot) and MS PowerPoint skills.

  • Proficient in MS Power BI.

  • Experience with data consolidation and warehousing.

  • Proven ability to develop complex financial analysis and then present it in a concise, impactful way to influence senior leadership.

  • Certification or coursework taken in MS Excel (including PowerPivot and Power Query).

  • Intermediate skills in MS Power BI.

  • Experience working in an international or cross-cultural environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and data review capabilities.

  • Experience working with financial related metrics and analytics in a marketing context.

  • Fluency in English required.
