Graphic Design Post-College Internship
At World Vision, we inspire supporters to come alongside and experience the joy of transforming vulnerable children's life stories. The Graphic Design post-college intern is an important member of the Global Marketing & Communications team who will help produce creative visual assets to invite more people to join World Vision in its mission to create lasting impact that will live on in generations to come.
The Graphic Design post-college internship will involve: using design to create compelling assets including infographics and print resources, creating and implementing style guides for new projects, producing content for various social channels, and collaborating with the team to shape and form new ways of telling to story of World Vision's work.
This internship will provide a top-notch recent college graduate, upcoming college graduate or part-time graduate student with the opportunity to join the World Vision International’s Global Marketing & Communications team for ten months beginning in January 2020 until November 2020. Start date is negotiable.
Interns will receive a $1600 monthly living stipend and gain significant ministry and professional development experiences through vocational coaching, intentional mentorship with World Vision staff, and possible external education opportunities. This internship will be located in Federal Way, WA.
Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should have the following:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge and understanding of layout, typography, and general design concepts.
Excellent organizational skills.
Project management abilities; experience, preferred.
Passion for and starting knowledge of social justice issues, particularly relating to development.
Motion graphics and animation skills, preferred.
