Sr. Business Analyst, Human Resources (P&C) Solutions Centre



As a Senior Business Analyst on the People & Culture (Human Resources) Solutions Centre Team, you will use data, research and complex analytical insights (e.g., SPSS, SPSS Modeler, Tableau, Excel statistical packages, etc.) to help create strategic solutions that transform the efficiency and effectiveness of World Vision’s Human Resources (P&C) global functions and portfolio.

You will a highly knowledgeable and practiced Human Resources Analyst and your data-driven work will dig deep into World Vision’s “people” analytics, software’s, and programmes; with the ultimate goal of helping the organization transform, improve, and bring fresh innovation into the P&C Solutions Centre.

Your project portfolio will span World Vision Human Resources (P&C) Process Engineering and Re-Engineering; Strategic Human Resources (P&C) Research, Human Capital Metrics, Human Resources (P&C) Analytics and Reporting, Global Human Resources Project Management, and People Systems Governance & Management.


  • Perform complex Human Resources and cross-functional data analytics using advanced statistical analysis and functional Human Resources knowledge for global Human Resources.

  • Develop solutions models/options and drive the change with key stakeholders towards more streamlined and cost effective approaches to World Vision’s strategy implementation, monitoring and reporting.

  • Using the experience of past successes, persuade the People & Culture (Human Resources) Solutions Centre Team and P&C (HR) leadership on ways to improve the use of data to drive the functions operational effectiveness across global World Vision People and Culture / Human Resources.

  • Research into identified current strategic Human Resources (P&C) issues using both internal/external and P&C/non-P&C data sources, producing and presenting reports and recommendations to P&C leadership on behalf of the People and Culture Solutions Centre.

  • Work with the People & Culture Solutions Centre team and/or contribute to projects within the People & Culture Solutions Centre service offerings to ensure effective and efficient global P&C operations.



  • A Bachelors Degree in an Information Systems or mathematical field such as Statistics, Operations Research, Actuarial Science or Applied Mathematics is required for this position.

  • 5 + years in Analytics related work (Human Resources Analytics work preferred).

  • Demonstrated ability to build complex statistical models using statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, SPSS Modeler, Tableau, Excel statistical packages, etc.) in analyzing data to produce management information/analytics.

  • Proficient and demonstrated understanding of P&C/HR and P&C business systems and processes and a solid understanding of the dynamics of how P&C functions within a global context.

  • Demonstrated ability of the use of HR information systems, data mining, preparation, analysis and presentation.

  • Technologically proficient in using project management and process/workflow design modules/concepts and software e.g., MS Visio, MS Project etc.

  • Deep interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends.

  • Proven adaptability in being able to successfully perform within various contexts in Global P&C/Human Resources.

  • Ability to stretch beyond ones comfort zone in the desire to raise ones professional caliber.

  • Strong presentation skills, written and oral.

  • Receive instruction and demonstrate good understanding of that instruction when being assigned to temporary roles that are unfamiliar or skills that are not fully developed.

  • Ability to offer input on issues and challenge the status quo/conventional wisdom.


  • Masters in Data Analytics or related field.

  • Human Capital and Data analytics certification will be preferred.

  • Several years of experience in HR analytics and strategy monitoring.

  • Experience with strategy scorecards.

  • Work Environment:

  • The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 3%-5% of the time.

  • Good business understanding of World Visions current business environment in general and Human Resources/People & Culture in particular.

  • Ability to work well virtually, across multiple streams and multiple regions / geographies.
