PURPOSE OF POSITION:
At World Vision, we inspire supporters to come alongside and experience the joy of transforming vulnerable children's life stories. The Content Creation Coordinator is an important member of the Global Strategic Marketing team who will help innovate new forms of storytelling to invite more people to join World Vision in its mission to create lasting impact that will live on in generations to come.
The coordinator will lead a team of college graduate interns to create compelling content, marketing materials and educational resources to support World Vision’s church engagement and its response to hunger, conflict and humanitarian emergencies. The candidate should enjoy working with young people as they consider their vocational direction while gaining meaningful work experience.
Support marketing teams through the ideation and creation of compelling content, marketing materials and critical research:
Lead creative production process of in-house team of creatives, as well as on-call creatives as needed:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and shape content needs and deliverables:
Collaborate within Strategic Marketing team to understand the role of content marketing within effective marketing strategies:
Lead the dissemination of finished deliverables, responding to stakeholder questions and needs, and escalating concerns as needed:
Contribute to developing, innovating and building marketing strategies to support World Vision’s church engagement and its responses to hunger, conflict and humanitarian emergencies:
Supervise college graduate interns, providing direction and feedback while ensuring personal, vocational and spiritual growth:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge and understanding of both humanitarian development and non-profit marketing & communications trends.
Capacity to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and creatives to produce effective storytelling content for marketing and communications.
Strong communication skills, with ability to write and edit for a variety of different audiences and mediums.
Previous experience leading individuals, such as interns, volunteers or staff.
Experience working with young people and contributing to personal, spiritual and/or vocational growth.
Experience leading projects from start-to-finish with variety of dependencies and stakeholders.
Project management training or experience preferred.
Experience operating content management tools.
