PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Senior Advisor – Marketing and Program Integration is responsible for working with marketers, programs, product owners and GFO on new and existing offers to ensure that product messaging and the supporter experience that is congruent with product development, financial resources and programming needs. They will work in collaboration with the relevant leaders to build the narrative, content strategy and necessary infrastructure (e.g. LMMS, Blueprints) to create and deliver content/data for all private recurring products that will attract and retain a clearly defined audience.
They will work in collaboration with multiple departments, cross-functional teams across the WV partnership in order to achieve this. They will lead organization-wide program to market projects and the innovation of existing and new private recurring products.
Provide strategic marketing and program leadership to key marketing/product development team leaders and ministry colleagues, to build strong messaging alignment and content, which will enhance product development and the supporter experience:
Lead marketing and program integration processes with all marketing divisions and product development teams to enhance our working relationships with the field and the programming needs. Collaborate with our global product development teams and global content to co-create new private recurring offerings, that align with the needs of the field.
In collaboration with the global product development and the global content team, develop specific offers, supporter experiences and funding models that align with WV program funding.
Work closely with senior marketers, program and product development leaders to develop product “blueprints” which will ensure alignment of our WV marketing messaging to our actual field impact.
Responsible for the integration and marketing development of a portfolio containing, Last Mile Mobile Solution (LMMS), financial and new funding models and product development processes, that will meet the needs of the supporter experience and to enhance our overall marketing capabilities.
Integrate examples of field/program innovation into our overall marketing messaging and supporter experience deliverables. This will enhance our unique value proposition, provide necessary evidence of impact and build infrastructure necessary to grow global products and the supporter experience.
Work with our global finance and programs teams to ensure accountability to financial and fiduciary standards of the donor promise i.e. We do what we say we do.
To lead and build partnerships/relationships with key external stakeholders at both SO and an NO level. This role will collaborate with these external stakeholders, in creating new marketing offers and delivering content for the supporter journey experience:
Church leaders at SO & NO level.
Local NO agencies and authorities in stable and fragile context.
Not-for-profit organizations in stable and fragile context.
Mass supporter engagement at an SO level.
Agency involvement to develop creative content for Community and Fragile context.
Agency involvement in market research and concept testing.
Partnering with agencies in developing long term strategy for community development and fragile content.
Be a leader of innovation to create new marketing and program opportunities:
Collaborate with cross-functional marketing and program teams across the partnership to explore new opportunities and innovative processes (e.g. LMMS) that meet the needs of the field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
10+ years as a Marketing/New Business/Product Development Senior-level Manager and/or 3+years as Marketing/New Business/Product Development Director (or equivalent) in a major or complex marketing organization.
Cross cultural marketing experience.
Degree in Marketing, Business or Social Sciences.
Significant experience and/or understanding of the NGO world.
Proven success in creating and launching consumer-focused new product development and innovations (more than one) that demonstrated clear sustainable business models.
Significant experience leading significant multi market/country marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Effective in written and verbal communication in English.

Demonstrate the ability to work with and lead projects with marketing and program teams.
The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
