National Campaign Coordinator
Position: National Campaign Coordinator (1)
Location: National Office - Lusaka
Purpose of the position:
To provide overall management of the national campaign to ensure quality delivery and engagement of all key sector players or actors for effective campaign results and impact.
Internal & External Engagement
Synthesize program information for the purpose of building national evidence for the National Campaign.
Manage and ensure stakeholder engagement in relation to the National Campaign.
Produce National Campaign analysis reports, contextualizing the global launch report, which will be used to outline NO’s campaign policy objectives and recommendations..
Produce intermittent campaign briefs, reports, fact sheets and other products to articulate NO campaign progress towards set objectives Support Senior Leadership, Technical Program Managers and AP staff to influence Policy change at different levels related to the National Campaign.
Contextualize frameworks linked to SDGs and other Continental and Regional frameworks in relation to the Campaign theme.
Media & Public Engagement
Engage media through training, awareness raising, field visits and any other action to ensure that the campaign issues or WV’s demands received more coverage in the media, including social media.
Contribute towards reframing of the public opinion and position on the Campaign theme.
Connecting with public audiences to raise awareness and develop understanding about the campaign issues and providing opportunities for people to respond.
Work with communications team to ensure that the campaign is externally communicated at all levels
Sensitize the public to take action in support of the Campaign objectives
Networking and Coalition Building
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners/stakeholders (including faith leaders, Traditional Leaders, Technical Working Groups etc) for enhanced involvement in Campaign activities, for sustainability, and policy change.
Represent WVZL in various key meetings related to the National Campaign including Technical Working Group (TWG) for alignment of National priorities.
Ensure that the campaign is well integrated with other WV programmes
Programme Development and Implementation
Work with DME to development a clear campaign Design, monitor and evaluation systm
Ensure that the campaign budget is well managed
Ensure on going learning through clear documentation of campaign progress Measure and track the progress of the National Campaign towards its objectives on an annual basis and reporting on Campaign impact.
Work with the Technical Program Managers to track the contribution of each TP to the objectives of the National Campaign.
Work with the Grants Acquisition team to preposition, establish donor linkages and integrate the Campaign in proposals.
Work with the Area Programs teams to ensure Campaign related activities at the local, district and national levels are linked to Campaign engagement at the regional and global levels.
Generate monthly, semi- annual and annual progress reports for timely submission.
Must be a Mature and Committed Christian, able to inspire others to World Vision Core Values, Vision and Mission Statement.
Must be able to think broadly, creative and innovative

Qualifications/Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
Degree in Development Studies, Law, Politics, Communications & Marketing with minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field
Master’s Degree in the relevant field is an added advantage with minimum 2 years’ experience in the relevant field
Ability to influence, network and collaborate with national level government, NGO, Media and the UN Agencies.
Experience with planning for, coordinating, and managing Organisation-wide engagement in Campaigns would be an added advantage.
Experience in a complex, international organization preferably NGO context
Knowledge and understanding of World Vision structures, processes and networks at the local, national and regional levels.
Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and report writing essential
Must have excellent communications, interpersonal, analytical, decision making, conflict management, negotiation, networking, liaison and donor engagement skills
Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment and functional teams.
Computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Working Environment / Conditions:
Work environment: Office-based 70% : field 30%
Travel: international as required.
