JOB TITLE: CHILD WELLBEING TRACKING OFFICER – MUKUMBURA ADP
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide field leadership in facilitating the planning, designing, implementation, monitoring, evaluation of Sponsorship, Child Protection, and relevant sector activities in the AP guided by Principles of Development Program Approach, Sponsorship Systems, Business processes and Partnership Standards
SPONSORSHIP AND CHILD PROTECTION
Ensure functional systems (including networking with stakeholders)for implementation of Sponsorship and Child Protection activities in the AP as per the partnership, regional and national office standards
Design and coordinate the processing of quality annual mailings to ensure sponsor retention.
Facilitate responses to Sponsor and Support Office correspondences in line with the partnership standards
Facilitate Child wellbeing tracking and management with communities.
Facilitate context relevant Child registration, monitoring and sponsor retention strategies
Identify, design and advocate for locally relevant child protection concerns.
Case Management actioning for sponsorship and child protection (timely reporting and managing CPIs within the AP)
Regular production, generation and analysis of reports on child and activity monitoring.
Educate and raise awareness of communities on integration between sponsorship and general community development.
SPONSORSHIP SYSTEMS ROLES
Managing of the APs Data Management Timeline Plan
Perform quality control on Horizon SSUI Captured Data elements and ensuring synchronised sponsorship data has been updated on the desktop application.
Manual processing of Child monitoring forms in times of Horizon mobile failure within defined partnership standard timelines.
Processing of all Correspondences (Introductory Letters, Gift Notifications including Kits, Queries) and the printing of Sponsor mailing labels.
Manage child records in accordance with partnership business processes and Standards
Ensure Horizon Mobile devices frequently connect with the Server for Synchronisation of data between the Horizon mobile application and Horizon server.
Upload, Transfer and quality review of Horizon captured Rich Media files (Child and Community content media files) before importing to Horizon for the Rich Media Server.
Perform System Maintenance processes (running of new deployments for Horizon mobile, scheduled upgrades and reconciliation processes).
Creation of incident tickets to the Zimo helpdesk on an ongoing basis on all system challenges for problem resolutions.
Facilitate training and support to frontline staff and volunteers on the production of photographic and video-graphic deliverables.
Ensuring credibility of data in the system Single step, Stepwise and Horizon
Facilitate the Identification and response to community training needs while working with local structures
Management and supervision of Frontline staff (DFs) and volunteers.
Ensure the participation of project development facilitators in design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of community projects.
Identifying capacity development needs of frontline staff and volunteers and implement appropriate responses.
Conduct regular performance reviews with frontline staff and volunteers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Social Sciences/Rural Development
A relevant postgraduate training is an added advantage.
At least three years’ experience in community/rural development or related work.
Computer literacy (ICDL) added advantage.
Facilitation, coordination, and leadership skills
Ability or willingness to use motorbike is an added advantage
